Job Overview

This role is crucial for managing the logistics involved in receiving, processing, and storing inventory in accordance with purchase orders. The focus will be on ensuring that shipping timelines are adhered to with precision, timely delivery, and accuracy.

The ideal candidate will adhere to company policies and procedures while complying with relevant shipping regulations.

This position entails efficiently processing orders, including product receipts, item transfers, and availability checks, utilizing the company's ERP system to support distribution channels.

The successful applicant will also be cross-trained to assist in various Supply Chain functions as required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute the pulling, packing, and shipping of all outgoing shipments, including stocking orders and customer orders.
  • Plan and manage inventory activities through data analysis.
  • Receive, unload, and accurately stock inventory in designated locations.
  • Follow established safety protocols.
  • Process both system-generated and manual material requests for procurement and expedite deliveries as necessary.
  • Investigate discrepancies and initiate corrective actions based on inventory forecasts and distribution needs.
  • Develop and maintain inventory requirements to meet service levels and turnover goals.
  • Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks.
  • Physically lift and move heavy products as needed.
  • Utilize company resources efficiently.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1-4 years of experience in distribution or manufacturing.
  • Proficient in computer applications.
  • Strong organizational and detail-oriented skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Capability to sustain prolonged periods of sitting or standing.
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs. when required.
