About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mental Health Specialist II to join our team at Dungarvin. As a key member of our Acute Behavioral Services (ABS) programs, you will provide direct care and support to individuals with intensive, interfering behavioral and mental health needs.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct care and support to individuals with mental health needs, including behavioral health management and daily living skills training.
  • Assist in maintaining a clean, safe living environment and provide transportation and supervision as needed.
  • Work collaboratively with the care team to develop and implement person-centered plans that promote the individual's goals and well-being.
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge in behavioral health and disability support.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; 2 years of experience working with mental illness and behavior management a plus.
  • Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to lift 50lbs and stand, squat, bend, or walk for long periods of time.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
