About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Psychiatrist to join our inpatient psychiatric unit, providing direct patient services in a 57-bed hospital with a focus on trauma and recovery-oriented care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide medical and psychiatric care to patients in an inpatient setting
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement treatment plans
  • Conduct assessments, diagnoses, and treatment of patients with mental illness or substance abuse issues
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams
Requirements
  • Medical degree and board certification in Psychiatry
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Current licensure in the state of Connecticut or ability to obtain licensure
