We are looking for a full-time Psychiatrist to join our inpatient psychiatric unit with one of the best health care systems in the Northeast. Come and join a wonderful team in a beautiful location near the coast line of Connecticut.

The role:

  • When people in Eastern Connecticut need help with behavioral health - whether for psychiatric illness or chemical dependency - they turn to this facility. The hospital's 57-bed facility provides inpatient care for over 650 children and adolescents and 1,300 adults with mental illness or substance abuse issues each year.

Qualifications for this position include:

  • Medical degree
  • Board certification in Psychiatry
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Can obtain CT state license if you are relocating from outside the state
