Job Summary

CVS Health is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Pharmacy Manager to join our team. As a Pharmacy Manager, you will be responsible for leading and directing a team of pharmacy staff, including pharmacists and technicians, to provide exceptional patient care and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and direct pharmacy staff to ensure efficient and effective delivery of patient care services
  • Manage and oversee all aspects of pharmacy operations, including patient safety, pharmacy professional practice, regulatory requirements, quality assurance, customer service, personnel management, inventory management, financial profitability, loss prevention, and workflow management
  • Develop and implement patient care programs to promote healthy outcomes and differentiate CVS Health from competitors
  • Lead with heart and display empathy and compassion for patients, customers, caregivers, and colleagues
  • Motivate and inspire pharmacy support staff to maximize their strengths, address development opportunities, and decrease knowledge gaps
  • Identify critical business opportunities and implement meaningful solutions to drive growth and improve performance in the pharmacy
Requirements
  • Active pharmacy license in the state of employment
  • Not on the DEA excluded parties list
  • Immunization certification through an accredited organization
  • Pharmacist in charge listed on the pharmacy state license
  • Submission of required information/documents to the state PMP administrator to register for PMP access
  • Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm. D. degree
