Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Analytical Chemistry Specialist to join our Bioproduct Research and Development team at Lilly. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing new analytical technologies and methods to advance our current analytical capabilities for bioproduct testing.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in analytical chemistry, with experience in chromatographic separations and/or spectroscopic methods. You will work closely with our cross-functional teams to develop and validate robust analytical methods, and identify and exploit new scientific concepts to contribute to multiple projects.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, collaborating with scientists and engineers to deliver product and process understanding for assets in our clinical development portfolio.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and implement new analytical technologies and methods to advance our current analytical capabilities for bioproduct testing
  • Develop analytical methods to support progression of the bioproduct portfolio
  • Generate key data and information applying HPLC, UHPLC, capillary electrophoresis, LCMS and/or other instrumental analysis techniques
  • Work with cross-functional teams to develop and validate robust analytical methods
  • Identify and exploit new scientific concepts to contribute to multiple projects
Requirements
  • MS in Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemistry, or a related field
  • Experience with chromatographic separations and/or spectroscopic methods
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to balance multiple activities, prioritize and handle ambiguity
