Managing Director, IMA Certificate Compliance

We are seeking a seasoned Managing Director to lead our Certificate Compliance team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for managing internal and external client relationships, providing expert guidance on compliance matters, and driving business growth through strategic partnerships.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement compliance strategies to ensure regulatory adherence and minimize risk
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, agents, and internal stakeholders
- Provide expert guidance on compliance matters, including audit certificates and policy endorsements
- Lead the interviewing, hiring, training, and development of talent for direct reports and department hires
- Direct the work assignments and manage the service teams to provide clear communication of expectations and regular progress updates
- Facilitate unit team meetings and communicate division information
- Perform functions of the role within an IMA office 0-50% of the time
- Support and demonstrate IMA's core values, including diversity, equity, and inclusion
- 5+ years' experience in Commercial Insurance and understanding of General Liability, Umbrella, Worker's Compensation, and other business policies
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Experience with Microsoft Office products required (PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Excel)
- Strong level of comfort with learning and utilizing computer software programs (i.e. MYCOI and TrustLayer)
- Modest travel required
