Job Summary:

The Athletic Trainer is responsible for providing athletic training services to student-athletes in the Central Dauphin School District. This includes providing preventative measures, standard immediate care procedures, clinical evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation/reconditioning of injuries.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide athletic training services to student-athletes
  • Develop and implement injury prevention programs
  • Conduct clinical evaluations and provide treatment for injuries
  • Collaborate with team physicians and other healthcare professionals
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Athletic Training or related field
  • Licensed in the state of employment as an Athletic Trainer
  • Current BOC certification
  • Current CPR certification
  • PIAA Weight Assessor Certification (can be obtained after employment)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum two (2) years experience preferred
  • Entry-level graduates with BOC certification encouraged to apply
