Position Overview:
Accountable for the management of physical therapy services for patients under the guidance and oversight of the Director of Rehabilitation Services.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Conducts comprehensive evaluations of patients and analyzes findings to ascertain the degree and nature of physical impairments.
2. Develops treatment objectives and formulates plans to meet established goals.
3. Initiates discharge planning from physical therapy services.
4. Executes the treatment regimen through direct patient interaction, may assign certain aspects of the treatment plan to qualified support staff, and collaborates with other healthcare professionals as necessary.
5. Provides guidance and education to patients and their families regarding treatment processes.
6. Regularly monitors clinical indicators to assess the effectiveness of interventions, patient progress towards objectives, and the necessity for adjustments to treatment goals.
7. Documents patient management accurately and promptly, demonstrating adherence to professional practice standards.
Essential Qualifications:
Experience: Not applicable
Education: Must be a graduate of an accredited physical therapy program with a bachelor's, master's, or doctoral degree in physical therapy or an equivalent foreign qualification.
License, Certification, Registration: A valid Physical Therapist License (California) is required upon hire. A National Provider Identifier is also required at the time of hire. Basic Life Support certification is mandatory at the time of hire.
