As a Surgical Care Leader at Albany Medical Center, you will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategies that improve patient outcomes, enhance the patient experience, and promote operational efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical leadership and direction to nursing staff on assigned shifts, promoting a culture of excellence and quality care.
- Mentor and coach nurses to enhance their skills and knowledge, ensuring they are equipped to deliver compassionate and evidence-based care.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate policies, programs, and services aligned with hospital mission and departmental vision.
- Collaborate with other leaders to achieve short- and long-term goals, driving improvement in patient satisfaction, quality metrics, and operational performance.
- Support off-shift and weekend coverage within the Post-Surgical Division, ensuring seamless continuity of care.

Your Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or higher.

- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
Salary: $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
