We are looking for a skilled engineer to lead engineering projects in developing innovative refrigeration products for the US and Canada markets. This position requires international travel, including a minimum once-per-year trip to China. The estimated salary for this role is $120,000 - $180,000 per year.

Key Responsibilities:

* Execute projects resulting in unique, innovative, and compelling new features for Midea-branded refrigeration products
* Utilize innovation idea generation activities to convert ideas into concepts
* Develop technology to expand intellectual property portfolio for refrigeration products
* Collaborate with international engineering teams to develop concepts and integrate them into refrigeration product plans for future implementation

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering
* 5-10 years' experience in refrigeration product development
* Active experience using 3D solid modeling software
* Good knowledge of engineering product development processes
* Experience with new and emerging technology identification and development
* Experience with innovation processes and idea generation
* Familiarity with open innovation and collaboration in an engineering environment
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
* Strong organizational skill and ability to prioritize tasks appropriately
