As an Environmental Care Associate, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a clean and safe environment for patients and staff. Your responsibilities will include disinfecting and sanitizing various areas within the facility, ensuring readiness for patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Execute comprehensive cleaning tasks across assigned areas, adhering to established schedules and utilizing the '7-Step Cleaning Method.'
2. Perform intensive cleaning duties, including:
- Dusting and wet mopping floors
- Scrubbing or buffing floors with appropriate equipment
- Vacuuming and shampooing carpets to control bacteria
- Stripping and refinishing hard surface floors
- Cleaning induction units, light fixtures, and windows
- Maintaining cleanliness of ceilings and walls
3. Respond promptly to emergency spills and assist in maintaining a safe environment.
4. Ensure all cleaning equipment is well-maintained and report any repair needs.
5. Observe and report any general maintenance needs within the facility.
6. Assist in setting up rooms for meetings and special events.
7. Manage waste disposal efficiently by transporting waste to designated compaction units.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Preferred experience of 2 years in a similar role.
- Familiarity with standard cleaning practices and procedures.
- Must possess necessary clearances as mandated by law.
