Overview:

The Process Engineering Specialist plays a crucial role in enhancing operational efficiency within the organization. Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conducts evaluations of manufacturing processes through the design and execution of research initiatives.
  • Develops and refines manufacturing processes by analyzing product specifications and exploring testing methodologies.
  • Enhances production efficiency by strategically planning workflows, spatial arrangements, and equipment configurations.
  • Ensures product and process integrity by establishing effective testing protocols.
  • Facilitates informed manufacturing decisions by calculating production, labor, and material expenditures.
  • Generates comprehensive reports on products and processes by gathering, analyzing, and summarizing relevant data and trends.
  • Maintains an organized database for product and process information.
  • Completes design and development projects by mentoring and guiding technical staff.
  • Stays updated with industry advancements by participating in educational workshops.
  • Implements and enhances document control procedures for programs and systems.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial).
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with SolidWorks and AutoCAD is preferred.
  • Demonstrated skills in Lean manufacturing and/or Six Sigma methodologies are desirable.
