Job Summary: The Mental Health Therapist will provide therapeutic services to adults, children, adolescents, and families as assigned. Duties may vary per location/department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments as a part of the diagnostic process, reviewing ongoing delivery of services, identifying individual client needs and diagnoses substance use and/or mental health disorders.
- Conduct individual, family and group sessions to provide therapeutic treatment, and behavior modification using evidence-based practice to assist clients in reaching treatment goals.
- Assist in case management and coordination of community resources to meet client needs.
- Collaborate with clinical staff and treatment teams to ensure comprehensive care.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in psychology, Counseling Psychology, Social Work or related field from an accredited college required.
- Work experience in a behavioral or mental health setting preferred.
- Combination of education/experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties outlined for this position may be considered.
