Job Summary:

EquipmentShare is seeking a Tax Senior Manager to lead and develop our tax function, including tax compliance, tax accounting, and tax planning initiatives. This role will report to the CFO and will be responsible for building and executing a roadmap for the future of the tax organization.

The ideal candidate will have experience with tax software, excellent analytical and communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks with competing deadlines. They will also have a solid ability to manage a high-performing tax team and forge relationships with senior leaders and key stakeholders.

The Tax Senior Manager will be responsible for designing and implementing an internal controls framework over the income tax accounts, managing direct and indirect tax compliance and risks, and advising on employment tax. They will also collaborate with cross-functional teams on business initiatives, communications, and policy.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of tax-related experience
  • CPA designation preferred
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills
  • Experience with tax software
  • Proficient in Excel, Google Sheet, or similar spreadsheet tools
  • Solid ability to manage multiple tasks with competing deadlines
  • Experience leading, developing, and managing a high-performing tax team
  • Experience forging relationships, advising senior leaders and key stakeholders
