Position Overview:
The Inpatient Registered Nurse plays a crucial role in delivering high-quality nursing care to patients within the hospital setting. This position involves:
- Delivering comprehensive nursing services to designated patients while adhering to established hospital guidelines.
- Working collaboratively with the healthcare team to create and execute tailored care strategies for each patient.
- Administering prescribed medications and assisting with specialized tests and procedures as necessary.
- Responding to emergencies and promptly addressing any potential or actual safety issues related to patient care.
- Fostering professional development through active participation in educational opportunities.
Required Qualifications:
- Completion of a nationally recognized nursing education program.
- Possession of a valid RN license in New Mexico or as permitted by reciprocal agreements.
- Certification in CPR for Healthcare Providers or as a Professional Rescuer.
- Capability to lift weights up to 100 pounds and perform physically intensive tasks.
