We are seeking a Patient Transporter to facilitate the safe and timely transport of patients, medical equipment, and patient-related items to their destinations.
Key Responsibilities:- Properly and safely transport patients, securing IVs, drainage tubes, and other medical equipment as needed.
- Use wheelchairs and other approved rolling stock to transport patients, ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Communicate effectively with nursing personnel, clinicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient transport.
- Alert nursing staff immediately to any signs of patient distress or equipment malfunction.
- Maintain equipment and report any issues for repair.
- No previous experience is required, but a willingness to learn and adapt to the needs of the healthcare environment is essential.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time efficiently.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals.
