Patient Transporter

As a Patient Transporter with Crothall Healthcare, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and timely transportation of patients, medical equipment, and patient-related items to their destinations.
Key Responsibilities- Transport patients safely and efficiently, securing IVs, drainage tubes, and other equipment as needed.
- Operate wheelchairs and other approved rolling stock to facilitate patient transport.
- Demonstrate competency in transporting patients of all ages.
- Communicate effectively with nursing personnel, clinicians, and other healthcare professionals.
- Ensure patient comfort and dignity by being attentive and respectful.
- Alert nursing staff to any signs of patient distress or equipment malfunction.
- Maintain equipment and report any issues for repair.
- Comply with regulatory agency standards, including federal, state, and JCAHO requirements.
- Adhere to facility confidentiality and patient rights policies.
