About the OpportunityThe Saint Alphonsus Neuroscience Institute is a robust and growing neurology practice in Boise, Idaho, providing care for patients with complex conditions, neurodegenerative disorders, seizures, and general neurological disease. The team promotes collaboration with a multidisciplinary team of neurosurgeons, neuroradiologists, vascular neurologists, neuropathologists, neuro-otolaryngologists, physiatrists, neuro-ophthalmologists, and radiation oncologists.
Responsibilities- Provide high-quality neurological services to patients with complex conditions, neurodegenerative disorders, seizures, and general neurological disease.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of neurosurgeons, neuroradiologists, vascular neurologists, neuropathologists, neuro-otolaryngologists, physiatrists, neuro-ophthalmologists, and radiation oncologists.
- Participate in the development and implementation of clinical protocols and guidelines for the treatment of neurological disorders.
- Contribute to the education and training of medical students, residents, and fellows in the field of neurology.
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree.
- Successful completion of an ACGME or AOA accredited residency-training program in Neurology.
- Board certification in Neurology by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology or board certification in Neurology by the American Osteopathic Board of Neurology & Psychiatry or its equivalent.
- Obtain Idaho medical licensure and granting of privileges at SARMC-Boise, SAMC-Nampa, and other health system affiliated hospitals as needed.
