We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Cascadia of Boise. As an LPN, you will provide high-quality nursing care to our residents, working under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN).
Key Responsibilities- Provide individualized and family-centered nursing care to residents, including administering medications, treatments, and performing various nursing procedures.
- Assist the healthcare team with the prevention of illness and injury, maintenance of wellness, and provision of comfort.
- Participate in resident evaluations and care planning activities, reviewing and revising residents' assessments and care plans as needed.
- Coordinate residents' care activities and communicate changes to other team members and resident family/significant other.
- Administer medications, including next scheduled dose following admission/readmission, and maintain accurate narcotic records.
- Document care performed and observations of resident status in the clinical record promptly, utilizing standard clinical documentation guidelines.
- Graduate of an accredited LPN School of Nursing.
- Current valid LPN license in the state employed.
- Valid CPR certification.
- Six months experience in a long-term care environment preferred.
