Job Overview

Experience with mortgage field inspections is not required, but an ability to effectively manage time and meet deadlines is crucial.

Responsibilities
  • Verify property occupancy and report on the general condition of the property using a mobile application.
  • Complete inspections within 4 days of assignment and take 9+ photos of the property with brief comments.
  • Complete a short form in an app and spend extended periods of time driving while making numerous stops during the day in the assigned territory.
Requirements
  • Computer with an internet connection
  • Reliable vehicle with good gas mileage
  • Smartphone (Android or iPhone)
  • Printer
  • Pass a standard background check using a valid driver's license
Pay and Hours
  • This is a 1099 position with a flat rate per inspection, varying by county and volume.
  • Inspectors can earn the equivalent of $20-$30 per hour, with the potential to earn more as they become established and have greater availability to inspect.
  • No additional mileage reimbursement is provided above the flat fee per inspection.
