Senior Financial Leader, University of California San Francisco

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Leader to join our team at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) Campus and Health. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial and compliance management in our organization.
Job SummaryThe ideal candidate will have extensive experience in finance, budgeting, and decision support in a higher education or academic healthcare setting. They will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with diverse populations and work across multiple departments.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
- Develop and implement financial strategies to drive organizational growth and success
- Cultivate strong relationships with stakeholders, including faculty, staff, students, and external partners
- Provide guidance and support to department leaders on financial planning and resource allocation
- 10+ years of progressive experience in finance, budgeting, and decision support
- Proven track record of success in a senior leadership role
- Advanced knowledge of financial policies, practices, and systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a matrixed organization
We offer a competitive salary range of $138,400 - $335,800 per year, depending on experience. Our comprehensive benefits package includes medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, as well as a 403(b) retirement plan.
