Ryder Warehouse Production Maintenance Technician Job Description

Ryder is seeking a skilled Warehouse Production Maintenance Technician to join our team in Hazleton, PA. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse equipment and machinery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on warehouse equipment, including forklifts, conveyor systems, and production machines.
  • Troubleshoot malfunctions and identify root causes to prevent future issues.
  • Collaborate with operators to understand equipment issues and provide training on proper techniques to maintain equipment.
  • Prepare downtime maintenance reports and analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Fabricate repair parts as needed using machine shop equipment.
  • Maintain equipment, parts, and supplies inventories by checking stock levels and expediting orders.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Five years of experience in maintenance or a related field.
  • Working knowledge of electricity and electrical troubleshooting up to 480 VAC.
  • Ability to run conduit and size wiring according to circuit demands and National Electrical Code.
  • Experience with electro-mechanical systems and ability to troubleshoot and repair.
  • Ability to cut and weld stainless steel, aluminum, and mild steel.
