Occupational Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at ECHN. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and rehabilitation services.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate patients to determine their functional abilities and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Conduct and modify evaluations based on patient symptoms, activity level, and medical status.
- Administer physical agents and manual therapeutic techniques to relieve pain and achieve established goals.
- Utilize effective techniques to assist in normalizing motor activity and learning.
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate records.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of patient care plans.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices through ongoing education and training.
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program with a minimum of a B.S.
- Holds or is eligible for current Connecticut license.
- Previous orthopedic, outpatient experience required.
- Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Personal computer skills and proficiency in Windows-based programs.
- Basic skills in Outlook, Word, and Excel desirable.
- Access to reliable transportation for travel between multiple work sites.
