Occupational Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at ECHN. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate patients based on departmental standards and develop individualized treatment plans to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Conduct thorough assessments and modify treatment plans as needed to ensure patients receive the best possible care.
- Administer various therapies, including physical agents and manual techniques, to relieve pain and improve function.
- Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare teams to educate and empower individuals to achieve independence and optimal function.
- Document patient progress and outcomes in accordance with insurance guidelines and departmental policies.
- Participate in interdisciplinary teams and contribute to the development of patient-centered care plans.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest evidence-based practices and continuing education requirements to maintain professional competence.
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program with a minimum of a B.S. degree.
- Current licensure in Connecticut or eligibility for licensure.
- Previous experience in orthopedic or outpatient settings, with a strong focus on patient care and outcomes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Proficient in the use of electronic medical records and other departmental software.
