Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Nurse Specialist to join our team at Southern Medical Management LLC. As a Pediatric Care Provider, you will play a crucial role in providing quality healthcare services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Obtain and verify patient health history, gathering pertinent data through physical assessments and biological samples.
  2. Provide basic patient care as ordered, administering medications and treatments as directed.
  3. Document assessments, interventions, patient/family responses, and medication dispensed/prescribed, and test results in medical records.
  4. Answer incoming phone calls in support of the Nurse Phone Triage Unit.
  5. Promote wellness by providing patient education materials and communicating physician advice/instructions.
  6. Perform other related duties as directed or assigned.

Requirements:

  1. State-licensed registered or practical nurse
  2. Professional customer service skills
  3. Skilled in effective written and verbal communications
  4. Ability to multi-task, including skills in organizing and prioritizing tasks effectively
  5. Ability to flexibly respond to changing demands
  6. Ability to work effectively as a team member with physicians and other clinical staff

Salary: $23/hr. based on experience.
