Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Dental Assistant to join our team at Matthew Walker Comprehensive Health Center. As a key member of our dental care team, you will provide exceptional patient care and support to our dentists and hygienists.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist dentists with dental procedures, including preparing patients for treatment and maintaining a clean and organized operatory.
  • Promote treatment plans and encourage patients to begin treatment, ensuring they understand their options and make informed decisions.
  • Prepare impressions and/or models for removable prosthetics, demonstrating attention to detail and a commitment to quality.

Requirements:

  • Graduation from an accredited Dental Assistant program and registration with the Tennessee Board of Dentistry.
  • One year of employment as a dental assistant, with a preference for those with experience in a similar setting.
  • Valid CPR certification and a commitment to ongoing continuing dental education.
