Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Warehouse Solutions Design Engineer to provide professional logistics and transportation engineering functions. The ideal candidate will collect and analyze data, recommend solutions, and assist with developing reports, proposals, and related information.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect, review, and analyze logistic and operational system data, applying professional logistics and transportation engineering principles and practices.
  • Recommend solutions or changes to current or proposed system operations to ensure efficient results, with a focus on smaller-scale projects.
  • Assist with developing cost models, assumptions, and risks for projects, with the ability to perform independently once fully trained and for projects under control.
  • Support the development of project, improvement, or current/future state proposals or presentations for customers or management, providing information and developing reports as required.
  • Develop or recommend standard operating procedures, work instructions, and related materials, ensuring processes and operations comply with applicable laws, rules, and regulations.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and deliver on project milestones, communicate effectively, and ensure resources are available.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Industrial or equivalent education and experience; Master's Degree in a related field preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of four years of related experience, with knowledge of fundamental professional industrial engineering principles and practices.
  • Credentials: Professional certification may be required in some areas.
  • Skills: Ability to develop analytics, reports, and communications within engineering and operational design, with awareness of common systems and databases for engineering management.
  • Characteristics: Strong communication and project management skills, with the ability to identify areas to drive efficiency and operational effectiveness.
