C-130 Loadmaster Instructor

KBR is seeking a skilled C-130 Loadmaster to fulfill critical flight responsibilities as a KC-130T Loadmaster Instructor. In this position, you will be engaged in essential operations at a prominent military testing unit.

This unit plays a vital role in supporting naval aviation activities, focusing on flight and ground testing for various aircraft and their functionalities, including logistics and training support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct preflight checks on KC-130T aircraft and associated ground equipment.
• Efficiently load and unload cargo and passengers.
• Calculate and verify weight and balance requirements.
• Act as an observer during inflight refueling operations.
• Provide instruction and training to aircrew members, ensuring thorough documentation of training processes.

Basic Qualifications:

• High School Diploma.
• A minimum of 1500 flight hours and five years of experience as a qualified Loadmaster on C-130 aircraft.
• Current military or FAA Class II medical certification, with the ability to meet annual recertification requirements.
• Eligibility to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance; current clearance is preferred.
• Prior designation as a C-130 Loadmaster is mandatory.
• Completion of a service-related school focused on loading methods and weight/balance calculations for cargo aircraft.
• Successful completion of Naval Air Training and Operating Procedure Standards (NATOPS) tests and training, with annual recurrency.
• Completion of Crew Resource Management training with annual recurrency requirements.
• Participation in the Naval Aviation Survival Training Program (Swims) for class 4 aircraft, with a four-year recurrency requirement.
• Willingness to achieve and maintain secondary aircraft qualifications and perform various administrative duties related to defense contracts.

Travel Requirements: Up to 20% travel may be necessary.

Skills and Knowledge:

• In-depth understanding of DOD regulations governing aircraft operations.
• Familiarity with the C-130 NATOPS manual.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with integrated test teams, including military, civilian, and contractor personnel.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Work Schedule: 40 hours per week.

Compensation: The salary range is $90,000 to $102,000, based on the candidate's qualifications and experience.
