Key Responsibilities:

As a Case Manager, you will operate under general oversight to deliver thorough investigative and case management services for cases involving child or adult abuse and neglect. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting prompt, in-person responses to reports of suspected child maltreatment and performing assessments to identify safety issues.
  • Formulating and executing immediate safety plans to address identified risks.
  • Engaging in diligent search efforts to connect with families when initial contact is unsuccessful.
  • Applying Solution Based Casework (SBC) methodologies.
  • Collaborating with children and parents to create and implement the Family Functioning Agreement, Action Plan, and Family Plan aimed at achieving positive outcomes.
  • Completing genograms to map out family support networks.
  • Partnering with community organizations to build support systems for families and children.
  • Ensuring regular and quality interactions with children and families to promote safety, stability, and well-being.
  • Identifying and addressing the physical, educational, and mental health needs of children and their families.
  • Setting permanency objectives for children in care.
  • Guaranteeing that foster care placements are secure and aligned with the best interests of the children.
  • Making proactive efforts to achieve timely permanency for children in accordance with established regulations.
  • Ensuring that siblings in foster care are placed together unless separation is necessary for their well-being.
  • Maintaining children's connections to their communities, extended families, and social networks.
  • Encouraging and facilitating positive relationships between children in care and their biological parents or caretakers.
  • Documenting case management activities in compliance with policy timelines.
  • Celebrating achievements with children and families.
  • Utilizing a personal vehicle for work-related travel, including transporting children.
  • Participating in after-hours on-call duties as required.
  • Engaging in continuous professional development and learning opportunities.
Our Case Managers typically work in an office setting, although documentation can be completed remotely as long as it is submitted promptly. The primary focus will be on serving children and families in the designated areas.

COMPENSATION: $33.50 per hour

Mileage reimbursement is provided.
