About the Role

Sedgwick is seeking a skilled Return to Work Associate to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in supporting injured workers, physicians, employers, and claims teams in the return-to-work process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform initial evaluations and assessments via telephone calls to physicians and employers.
  • Evaluate the need for alternative return-to-work plans and coordinate return-to-work related activities.
  • Support return-to-work and job accommodation processes for return-to-work management.
  • Provide return-to-work support for injured workers, physicians, employers, and claims teams.
  • Gather return-to-work data from providers, nurses, and return-to-work specialists for record keeping.
  • Resolve workers' compensation cases by applying current policies and procedures per state workers' compensation laws and client program design.
  • Enter data into the claims management system accurately.
  • Adhere to quality assurance standards.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • One (1) year claims management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Return-to-work experience preferred.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills.
  • PC literate, including Microsoft Office products.
  • Analytical and interpretive skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Ability to meet or exceed Performance Competencies.
