The ideal candidate will possess a solid background in selling stone slabs specifically to production home builders in Central Florida, with an eye towards future growth in multi-family sales. Our client prides itself on transparency and integrity, making this a unique opportunity to be the inaugural sales representative in St. Petersburg. This role offers significant potential for partnership with the owner and opportunities for professional growth and financial success.

It is important to highlight that our client has extensive experience and established connections in stone distribution and imports, ensuring that scaling operations to $10MM is achievable for the right candidate. If you have faced challenges with your current employer's capacity to deliver high volumes, this position presents a promising alternative.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leverage your existing network of production home builders to generate revenue ranging from $2MM to $5MM, with the potential to exceed $10MM over time.
  • Enhance and expand high-volume countertop sales with residential production builders.
  • Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of Granite, Quartz, and various stone products.
  • Identify potential leads, manage prospects, and secure new business opportunities.
  • Complete standard administrative tasks associated with the role.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience selling high-volume stone countertops to production home builders, with 5-10 years preferred.
  • At least 3 years of experience in margin sales, as compensation will be closely linked to gross margin dollars; strong experience in higher-margin sales will lead to substantial earnings.

Compensation Package:

  • Expected total compensation ranges from $100,000 to $120,000 or more.
  • Compensation structure includes a base salary plus commission, which will vary based on experience and talent.
  • While company benefits are not provided, compensation will be adjusted to allow for flexibility in personal coverage.
  • Top candidates may be considered for a company vehicle or mileage reimbursement.
