Job Summary:

Eckerd Connects is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Program Director to lead our Short-Term Juvenile Justice Residential program. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the program, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to our youth, and promoting a safe and therapeutic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Program Management: Oversee the implementation of evidence-based practices and curriculum in working with youth and their families, ensuring compliance with contractual and licensing standards.
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise and direct a team of Group Managers, Night Watch Supervisors, and other staff members, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of quality services.
  • Youth Services: Ensure that each newly admitted youth receives prompt and supportive orientation, and that all in-house screenings and assessments necessary to formulate a thorough individual service plan are scheduled during the intake phase.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with the Leadership Team, Group Managers, and other stakeholders to ensure the overall success of the program, including program development and enhancement, safety and security of youth and staff, back-up support, fund development, staff development and training, etc.
  • Qualifications: Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college in the field of counseling, social work, behavioral science, psychology, public administration, or a related human services field. Master's degree preferred. 4+ years of progressively responsible work with at-risk adolescents and families required. Minimum of three years of direct staff supervision required.
