Job Description

This position is responsible for leading the design engineering team to meet customer expectations and communicate requirements effectively to production through CAD drawings. The successful candidate will hold direct reports accountable for adhering to established processes and procedures while working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to develop best practices and policies.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in product design and manufacturing in a metal fabrication environment, with experience in code welding (ASME, PED, and AWS) and 3D CAD (preferably SolidWorks). Knowledge of GD&T principles and FEA calculations is highly desirable.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, Machine Design, Process Design, or related field, with at least 5 years of experience in manufacturing leadership or supervision.
  • Proven track record of improving efficient engineering processes, contributing to cross-functional alignment, and mentoring collaborative teams.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under time constraints and manage resources effectively.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems, software/controls engineering, and system design principles is a plus.
Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $110,000 - $140,000 per annum, based on experience and qualifications. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
