Position Overview:
We are in search of a dedicated and skilled Litigation Counsel with 8 years of experience to enhance our dynamic legal team.

Preferred Experience:
While we prioritize candidates with a background in product liability, experience in catastrophic incidents such as fires, explosions, or oilfield-related accidents will be highly valued.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Case Oversight: Independently manage a varied caseload, focusing on product liability while also addressing catastrophic incidents as necessary.
  • Legal Research: Perform comprehensive legal research and analysis to support case strategies and preparations.
  • Client Engagement: Maintain effective communication with clients, providing updates and legal advice.
  • Document Preparation: Draft, review, and file legal documents, including complaints, motions, and discovery requests.
  • Court Representation: Represent clients in court proceedings, including hearings, trials, and depositions.
  • Negotiation: Participate in settlement discussions and mediation to achieve favorable resolutions.
  • Strategic Development: Collaborate with senior attorneys to formulate case strategies and legal arguments.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law institution.
  • Licensure: Active license to practice law.
  • Experience: Minimum of 8 years in litigation, with a strong preference for product liability cases. Experience in catastrophic incidents is advantageous.
