Overview of the Role:
Washington Adventist University is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Student Trainer to provide practice and game day training support to our athletic teams. As a Student Trainer, you will work closely with our athletic trainers and coaches to ensure the success of our student-athletes.

Responsibilities:

• Arrive 30 minutes early to practices to prepare equipment and assist with setup

• Assist with taping, stretching, and applying protective gear to student-athletes as directed by the head athletic trainer

• Fill and transport water and ice for both teams during games

• Assist with cleaning and maintaining the training room and equipment

• Be present at the end of practices and games to assist with ice and tape removal and equipment cleanup

Requirements:
• Ability to lift 40 pounds

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations

• Availability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends

Supervision:
Receives direct supervision from the Department Trainer, Office Manager, Athletic Director, and Compliance Coordinator.

Qualifications:
