Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Sensor Validation Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and executing tests for correlation experiments, developing hardware and software components for data collection and analysis, and making improvements to underlying scenes, materials, and models to enhance simulation fidelity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and execute tests for correlation experiments for real and synthetic sensor outputs
  • Develop the hardware and software components necessary for data collection and analysis
  • Make improvements to underlying scenes, materials, and models to improve simulation
  • Work with customers to validate their models and integrate with the simulation environment
  • Write technical documents detailing results and best practices
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in sensor validation, autonomous perception systems, or related field
  • Experience with working with hardware and software components of sensors (Lidar, Radar, & Camera)
  • Experience with data analysis, including statistics and signal processing
  • Proficiency in Python and C++ programming languages
  • Strong understanding of physical processes and sensor operation
