Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Take full responsibility for the quality and precision of project installations.
  • Identify and manage potential change orders effectively.
  • Maintain strong customer relations throughout assigned projects.
  • Conduct weekly safety meetings to promote a safe working environment.
  • Participate in cost and job reviews to ensure project alignment.

  • Interpret HVAC drawings to guide craft installation.
  • Plan, schedule, and coordinate on-site activities.
  • Perform material take-offs and timely ordering of tools, materials, and equipment to enhance field productivity.
  • Coordinate installation efforts with labor subcontractors to uphold the highest quality standards.
  • Ensure that construction practices adhere to safety protocols and reflect the company’s core values.
  • Review turnover packages, including scope of work, submittals, specifications, and vendor lists.
  • Ensure comprehensive on-site documentation, including safety records, daily reports, and as-built drawings.
  • Communicate job progress through regular meetings with project stakeholders.
  • Oversee the performance of all HVAC trades, ensuring quality control, quality assurance, and safety compliance.
  • Review engineered drawings to confirm proper installation according to specifications.
  • Provide on-site safety training as necessary and document training sessions.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of three to five years of experience as an HVAC Superintendent or a Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • Exceptional communication skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Able to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
  • Proactive approach to problem-solving and conflict resolution.
  • Strong organizational and leadership capabilities.
  • Proven integrity and a solid work ethic.
  • Expert knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and commitment to safety program standards.
  • Ability to anticipate and mitigate potential conflicts and issues related to drawings and specifications.
  • Valid driving record.
  • Extensive knowledge of HVAC construction practices and applicable building codes.
  • 30 hours of OSHA Certification is mandatory.
