Job OverviewUnder the direction of the Imaging Director or designee, the Multi Skilled Transport and Tech Assistant will work throughout the facility assisting in patient transport and other direct patient care duties such as patient comfort, pre-screening of patients for procedures, IV starts, lab draws, EKG's, and clerical duties as approved and within the scope of their certification/licensure.
Responsibilities- Assist in patient transport and other direct patient care duties
- Provide patient comfort and pre-screen patients for procedures
- Perform IV starts, lab draws, and EKG's as needed
- Complete clerical duties as approved and within the scope of their certification/licensure
- High school graduate or GED equivalent
- Previous hospital and/or clinical background required
- BLS Certified National EMT License or CMA/CNA required
- Florida EMT License preferred
