Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Food Server to join our team at Sonesta Hotels. As a Food Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests.

Responsibilities

  • Provide prompt and professional service to all guests, ensuring a positive dining experience.
  • Demonstrate complete knowledge of the food and beverage menu, making recommendations to guests as needed.
  • Operate the POS system efficiently, ensuring accurate orders and timely service.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless service, responding to guest requests and concerns in a timely manner.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a server in a full-service restaurant, preferably in a fine dining establishment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, and move quickly without compromising quality.
  • Food handlers and TIPS certificates required, with experience with computerized cash registers preferred.
