Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Server to join our team at Marriott Baltimore Inner Harbor. As a Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring their dining experience is memorable and enjoyable.

Responsibilities:

  • Guest Service: Greet and serve guests in a friendly and attentive manner, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Food and Beverage Service: Prepare and serve food and beverages to guests, adhering to our high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Station Preparation: Prepare the server station for service, ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are available.
  • Cash Handling: Handle cash and credit transactions accurately and efficiently, maintaining a high level of integrity and security.
  • Side Work: Perform side work duties as assigned, including cleaning and sanitizing the server station and equipment.
  • Teamwork: Work collaboratively with other servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff to ensure seamless service and a positive guest experience.

Qualifications:

  • Communication Skills: Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with guests, colleagues, and management.
  • Teamwork: Demonstrate a strong ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, supporting colleagues and contributing to a positive and productive work environment.
  • Attention to Detail: Maintain a high level of attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and quality in all aspects of service.
  • Physical Demands: Be able to stand for long periods, lift up to 30 pounds, and move quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
