Summary
Under the guidance of the General Manager, this role involves assisting in the operations of the pro shop and delivering exceptional service to patrons.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and proper organization of golf carts.
- Ensure the cart staging area is orderly and carts are parked correctly.
- Document maintenance needs for carts as required.
- Assist in cleaning golf balls, loading machines, and collecting baskets.
- Manage advanced tee-time bookings using the point of sale system.
- Facilitate a smooth flow of play on the golf course, courteously advising slower groups of their position.
- Record cart numbers for each group and direct them to the appropriate tee in a timely manner.
- Foster a welcoming and professional environment for all guests.
- Process sales for range ball tokens through a computerized system.
- Coordinate golf lesson bookings with the teaching staff.
- Promote and sell various merchandise including balls, gloves, tees, and clubs.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Deliver outstanding customer service consistently.
- Minimum age requirement of 21.
- Proficient in operating cash registers and computers.
- Strong customer service skills are essential.
- Previous experience in golf is preferred.
- Valid Colorado driver's license is required.
- Current CPR/First Aid certification is necessary.
The work environment typically has a moderate to loud noise level.
Physical Demands
Regularly required to talk or hear, stand, walk, sit, and reach with hands and arms. Occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds may be necessary. Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, and depth perception.
