About the Role

The Director of Data Center Infrastructure will be responsible for leading our data center development and construction projects from inception to completion. This includes managing project budgets, schedules, and quality assurance to ensure projects meet company standards and objectives.

This role requires providing strategic leadership to contractors, consultants, and vendors throughout the project lifecycle. Assignments will primarily be regional, with a focus on ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meeting scope and quality expectations.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead data center development and construction projects from inception to completion
  • Develop and maintain project budgets, ensuring adherence to financial targets
  • Create and manage project schedules, addressing critical path conflicts as needed
  • Develop and issue RFPs for project bids, evaluate bidder qualifications, and negotiate contracts.
  • Supervise consultant and contractor activities throughout all project phases
  • Monitor job cost tracking systems to ensure compliance with budgets and schedules; process invoices and support cost reporting
