Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Architect Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing technical mentorship to customers on the implementation, configuration, and maintenance of our F5 BIG-IP core products. You will also lead customer interaction and engagement over the course of assigned projects, maintain working proficiency in our products and technologies, and identify additional product/services opportunities in customer organizations.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain working proficiency in our products and technologies through focused and formal training.
  • Identify additional product/services opportunities in customer organizations.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of containerization concepts, including Docker images, deployment plans, YAML file configurations, and Kubectl. You will also need to have experience with cloud-native and container-based distributed systems like Kubernetes, as well as knowledge of common networking concepts, including Ethernet, IP, TCP, and UDP.

You will also need to have in-depth knowledge of the HTTP protocol and related technologies, such as HTML, XML, JSON, AJAX, and JavaScript. Additionally, you should have experience with configuring or running OSPF, BGP, static and dynamic routing with firewall technology, as well as Linux, UNIX, and Windows knowledge.

Preferred qualifications include knowledge of DNS-related tools and technologies, cryptographic concepts and implementations, AAA-related technologies, VPN and tunneling technologies, and security certifications. You should also have experience with scripting and development in F5 iRules, Unix Shell, Perl, Python, C, C++, C#, Java, JSP, PHP,.NET, and Node.js.
