Exciting Correctional Nursing Opportunity in Delta, CO

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team at a correctional facility in Delta, CO. This is a unique opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of inmates while working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

About the Role:

This 13-week direct contract offers a competitive salary package and the potential for extension. As a Correctional Nurse, you will provide high-quality healthcare services to inmates, conduct health assessments, screenings, and medical evaluations, and administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.

You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate and comprehensive medical records, documenting all patient interactions, treatments, and outcomes. In addition, you will respond to medical emergencies, educate inmates about health issues and preventive care, and participate in health promotion and disease prevention programs within the facility.

Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years of RN experience; Correctional, Psychiatric, and related nursing experience preferred
  • Active BLS certification
  • CO or multistate RN License Required
Salary and Benefits:

The estimated weekly salary for this position is $2,354.00-$2,552.00 based on 36-40 hours per week. You will also have access to benefits such as Medical, Dental, Vision, and 401K, as well as a travel bonus to the assignment.
