Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Correctional Nurse to join our team in Delta, CO.

Compensation and Benefits

This contract offers a competitive weekly gross pay of $1,872.00 - $2,080.00, with the possibility of overtime. Additionally, you will receive a weekly direct deposit every Friday, as well as benefits including medical, dental, vision, and 401K. A travel bonus is also included.

Job Description

As a Correctional Nurse, you will be responsible for examining patients in the correctional environment, evaluating their response to treatment, and monitoring their progress. You will also provide mental health and emotional support for inmates, referring them to appropriate mental health resources when necessary. Your duties will include assisting physicians/RNs with exams and treatments, conducting sick calls, preparing inmates for exams, dispensing medications, and documenting patient information.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need 2+ years of experience in psych, corrections, or related nursing, a current CO or multistate LPN license in good standing, active BLS certification, and a clean background check upon hire.
