Job Title: Electrical Test Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking an Electrical Test Engineer to develop and maintain test set software for electronic components of Radar systems. This role involves developing instrumentation device drivers for new test equipment and updating existing software to correct deficiencies or incorporate new test techniques. You will interface with various engineers to prototype, integrate, and implement hardware solutions for fleet asset sustainment. Additionally, you will develop test procedures for future testing of new features.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain test set software for electronic components of Radar systems
  • Develop instrumentation device drivers for new test equipment
  • Update existing software to correct deficiencies or incorporate new test techniques
  • Interface with various engineers to prototype, integrate, and implement hardware solutions for fleet asset sustainment
  • Develop test procedures for future testing of new features

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in hardware interfacing
  • Experience with software test programming of test consoles
  • Experience with MATLAB and/or HP/Transera BASIC
  • Understanding of electrical lab test tools
  • Wiring diagram development experience using Solid Edge (preferred but not required)
