Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medication Aide to join our team at Wallick Communities. As a Medication Aide, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our senior residents, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer medications as prescribed and under the direction of a licensed nurse.
  • Provide personal care and daily assistance to residents, promoting their independence and dignity.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, staff, and families to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Assist with meal preparation and documentation, ensuring residents receive proper nutrition.
  • Participate in maintaining a clean and safe environment, adhering to infection control protocols.
  • Collaborate with the care team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Respond to resident needs and concerns in a timely and compassionate manner.
Requirements
  • Current valid Medication Aide Certificate authorized by the Ohio Board of Nursing.
  • CPR Certification.
  • Nurse Aide Certification.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
