Job Opportunity at Hills Properties

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Maintenance Technician to join our team at Mallard Landing, a luxury apartment community in Beavercreek, Ohio.

Job Summary

This is a regular, full-time position with some evening and weekend on-call hours required. As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a key role in upholding our high standards and reputation by maintaining all areas of the property and performing service requests for residents.

Responsibilities
  • Inspect and maintain all outdoor grounds areas, including the pool area, in a safe and attractive condition.
  • Perform work orders and repairs, including HVAC, electrical, small appliances, and plumbing repairs.
  • Inspect and log building lights, smoke detectors, sprinkler systems, and furnace filters; replace as needed.
  • Embody the Hills Properties mission, vision, and values by demonstrating a professional and positive outlook with teammates, residents, vendors, and future residents.
Requirements
  • HVAC certification preferred but not required.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Thorough working knowledge of building maintenance.
  • Able to communicate clearly, both orally and in writing.
  • Able to perform basic mathematical functions.
  • Knowledgeable and skilled in the safe use and maintenance of hand tools, user mover aids, cleaning fluids, etc.
