Software Development and Testing Specialist

This role involves developing software toolsets and conducting validation and regression testing of our software-based products, primarily over CAN, LIN, and Bluetooth interfaces. The ideal candidate should be proficient in working with the Python scripting language and have a foundational level of capability reading and interpreting C and C++ languages.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement automated tests to streamline the testing process, validation process, and improve efficiency.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and identify test scenarios.

Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure the quality and reliability of software products.

Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on software quality and testability.

Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance product quality and team efficiency.

Required Skills and Competencies:

Proficiency in programming languages such as Python (primary), C#, JavaScript, and C/C++.

Proficiency in test automation tools and frameworks such as PyTest (primary), Selenium, Appium, or others to automate repetitive test cases and improve testing efficiency.

Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and techniques.

Strong analytical thinking, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

Strong documentation skills with high attention to details.

Strong communication and collaboration skills.
